My Grandparents were great people they would welcome you into there home with open arms even without knowledge of your arrival.  If you were hungry in the middle of the night they would get up and serve you ice cream or bake you a pie.  They were just great people who died without a debt to anyone.  They were full of love and in my opinion the best.

Well.... I guess all I can really say about my Grandparents is they were good.  If you want to know how a true Christian should live a life, you should look to them.  The highest praise, in my idea.  "A man is only as great as the woman behind him, a woman is second only to God."  They both lived in greatness, and kindness until the day each died.  I wrote this poem for them, when Grandpa was still with us.  I hope you enjoy it.

My Mother and Father were first, and foremost, in love with each other.  And their love was passed on, unconditionally, to their family and to their friends.  They were wonderful parents, and showered love on all their children, in-laws, and in special measure, their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  I miss them, and often find myself picking up the phone to make a call home - before I realize they are not with us anymore.

Life is a little less sunny since you left, Mom and Dad.  I love you...and miss you.

They live life the way it was meant to be lived.  We all miss them very much.

They were probably the greatest grandparents that ever lived (at least from my perspective). Sometimes I just sit down and stare into space but I'm really thinking about them. I remember one night when I was sleeping at their house I got hungry and my grandma got up and got me a bowl of ice cream. But I didn't just like her for her treats, I liked her because she was my grandma and I loved her. Same thing with my grandpa. I miss them very much, but I know they are watching over me.
